Gluten intolerance
Try as we have, we have not yet been able to make a Sally Lunn Bun alternative that is made without gluten. The original recipe Bun is amazing – but our attempts without wheat have been less so.
We do however have truly amazing gluten free scones and at least one other gluten free cake, which will be delicious.
Please note: While we follow strict segregation protocols, all our products are homemade in a bakery that handles flour. As a result, we cannot legally describe anything we serve as Gluten Free.
Vegetarians
The Sally Lunn Bun is suitable (and delicious) for vegetarians as are many of the toppings we serve. We also have various dishes in the evening for dinner, including an amazing mushroom pie.
Vegans
Because our famous Bun contains butter and egg, it is not suitable for vegans.
Nuts
We do have strict protocols in place, but our bakery and small kitchens handle nuts.
